ABOUT ME

WICOMICO IS HOME
A proud daughter of Wicomico, my family has called this county home for nearly 100 years - and the Eastern Shore for over 180. My great-grandfather was Council Member on Fruitland's City Council for 16 years, my grandfather was a sergeant with the Maryland Natural Resource Police, and my parents raised a family here. I spent my summers on the Wicomico River, and graduated from Parkside High School. Wicomico County is more than just an outline on a map, it's home to me.
A THRIVING CAREER
I graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor's in Communications and a minor in political science. I spent the last five years working alongside industry leaders, environmental organizations, state delegates, and local officials to advocate for renewable energy and advance workforce development opportunities in Maryland.
In my spare time, I continue that work in my community volunteering through local organizations like Lower Shore Land Trust, SBY Green Drinks, the National Folk Festival, and the Salisbury Sustainability Task Force.
MISSION STATEMENT
A Candidate for You
I am running for Wicomico County Council At-Large to help my community build a brighter future. Our county needs council members who have the courage to stand up for their community and deliver on their promises to provide opportunity to the people of Delmarva. I promise to work with you all. I will work to be present in every community across this county, to hear your concerns, create unique solutions to overcome our challenges, and provide a voice for the citizens of this community. I believe in a future for Wicomico that will benefit our children for generations to come, one that will ensure we both protect our rural heritage and nurture a thriving community. As your council member, I will advocate for small businesses, that we invest in our infrastructure, and that we provide opportunities for our students. I will use my platform to lift up and support the voices of my community and ensure that we invest in our people, and support those who are trying to build a life here in Wicomico County.
